Study of web application security testing is provided, resulting from a combination
of automatic and manual testing.This testing is based on the internationally recognized methodology OWASP, dealing with vulnerabilities such as SQL injection, OS command injection, XSS, File Traversal etc.

This study contributes substantially to migitating the vulnerabilities of web applications, which could be exploited by malicious users to attack against the confidentiality, the integrity and the availability of information handled and stored information, as well as the functions of applications and systems.
